Musings [200 words]
There are supposed to be words here, more words than this anyhow.
…
Ok, here’s something. I read this on a social media post this morning, “Anyone else have a hard time getting out of bed this morning?! These Arctic winter temps are not great for a motivational Monday.” No, not having a hard time.
The colder, the windier, the snowier, the more motivation I feel. Is that not the same for everyone else? I thought that’s why people lived up here. Go get your ass kicked by the elements with snot freezing to your face, then the hygge experience multiplies exponentially when back in doors.
Also, play. Snow and winter should bring out the fun. Sliding down a frozen snow covered set of stairs was incredible this morning. I couldn’t stop giggling to myself. Whatever deer and birds were out their listening must have been rolling their eyes as I continue to run up the stairs to do it again and again.
I want everyone to feel exactly what I feel on these -20° windchill mornings. Because I believe it’s good for the soul, that it brings something to life in your spirit.

Fuel more Sunrises
There is plenty more to come from Year of the Sunrise. You can always add a cup of coffee to keep me going strong in the mornings, or a tank of gas to get me to some new places, as the sun keeps rising.
