The sunrise is getting late, very late. Today the sun rose at 6:45AM.

The morning is disappearing.

For months I have been longing for the chance to sleep in little by little each day. It’s been 56 days since the summer equinox, and I’m feeling kind of sad that the mornings are getting so short.

… Worst part about thriving while working in coffee shops, interruptions. Sometimes I just crave some anonymity in town …

So where was I?

The time between sunrise and the shop opening is getting smaller and smaller. And I love that quiet period of time. What has a greater heart wrenching feeling is the decreasing time between sunrise and when coffee shops start to get busy.

This further explains my desire to change our time system, where the clock always begins at 0 o’clock at sunrise, and the business world always get going 2-3 hours after sunrise, no matter the season.
