How is it that I got three hours of sleep and I still feel completely wired? I thought I’d take a post sunrise nap since I was awake until 2AM, but I can’t even keep my eyes closed.

There are hardships I think of at night that affect me, creating sadness and discouragement. Yet, when I think of that same hardships in the morning, the sadness is not there. The reality still is, but it’s met with calm and reason. It’s as if the weight of the day has yet to pile on. How is it that the exact same thought and reality can illicit such different emotions at different parts of the day? So this is why people become morning people.
